Snowball Effect was the first equity crowdfunding marketplace to launch in NZ, and has a dominant market share. Co-founder Josh Daniell talks about how equity crowdfunding has evolved into a range of online capital raising options over the past two years, including public offers, private offers, and “wholesale investor” offers.
These options provide alternatives to investing and raising funds, but are not a fit for every investor or business. Josh explains how online capital raising fits into the funding landscape in NZ, and when these options may be right for a company.
This episode is co-hosted by Paul Spain (@paulspain) and Jo Bennett with the support of Gorilla Technology and is a production of Podcasts New Zealand. Thank you to our guest Josh Daniell.
